Built during the late 1930s from massive, seasoned Adirondack trees located, milled and joined together with painstaking dedication by local Adirondack Craftsman on its original site.

Now available for rental, we the Flynn Family of Paradox Lake, offer this outstanding original Adirondack Log Home, nestled among the Mighty Trees of Paradox Lake to you and your family to enjoy endless days and nights in your own Pvt. Log Home listening to the early morning songs of our feathered friends, finches and song birds of all colors, flapping their wings in the radiance of a fantastic morning sun breaking over the Mountains, Humming birds going to and fro sipping nectar from our special feeders. and a host of other. small creatures. especially the Chipmunks. surring around with their young over the dirt road or in and out of the rock ledge adjacent to the log home. .. Or maybe the Garden flowers will be swaying to the warm Adirondack Mountain breezes from the friendly Butterflies that regularly visit our homes on paradox during the summer months..You and your family have found a special place....Ryan's Log Home...to relax, enjoy and revisit those moments of family togetherness....that will carry with you for a Lifetime.
Located across the dirt road from the C. J. Home you have your own Pvt. parking for 3 automobiles and a boat trailer.
Privacy is the hallmark of our 5 waterfront homes and Ryan's has 100 +ft. of waterfront, That is accessible from our second PVT. driveway of the Ryan Home.

The Steps were hand crafted for ease of walking to and into the Pristine waterfront where up to a 21 ft. Boat can be moored. Enjoy our Sun Drenched deck where you can relax or cast your fishing line hoping to catch that Trophy fish [and we have had many fishermen] become astonished as to the size and amount of fish they caught while on vacation with us on Paradox Lake.

Your family will get the coals warmed up for that mouth watering catch while the humming birds dart back and forth as the sun sets over the mountains. And another perfect day starts....to become another perfect evening on Paradox Lake.

Our Home which is on the road side and has 14 steps from our Natural Crushed Adirondack Stone parking area that lifts you up to among the Majestic Adirondack Oak and evergreen trees onto our screened in porch.
Your Family and You will stand in awe as your eyes behold our Adirondack Birdhouses and other personal hand made Adirondack crafts which are neatly placed around the screened in porch to Give your Vacation Home That Special Adirondack Log Home Feeling. You Will Marvel at How this Adirondack Log Home which was redecorated to The Taste of a discriminating Owner who enjoys the Finer Things of Life was hand milled, carved and put into place on this spot of paradise with just so much care for detail without any power tools of today's Mass produced Log Homes.

NOW...Your Adirondack Adventure begins as you turn the key and you enter Through Our Custom Built "TRULY" Adirondack Front Door...Step inside and you will see OUR attention to detail...a Massive Stone fire place to your left and over the Mantle an eight point Deer head trophy between our Grandfathers turn of the Century Snow shoes with 2 hurricane glass lanterns filled with special oil from our travels to cast a warm glow against the hand cut stone.
As you look up you will see our loft area again decorated with our wide selection of Adirondack Hand carved art four modern sky lights which let the outside world of nature peek inside your living area from on high.
The Two queen size beds are in separate bed rooms located on the main floor.
For the children two twin beds are located in the loft area.
Ceiling Fans are in the main room and sleeping areas for those warm summer nights
But since we are so close to the waterfront of Paradox Lake. Many times the open windows will let the cool breezes with cross ventilation. make for wonderful sleeping nights.
Of Course Next to The Fireplace you will find our 150 + channel satellite TV, with HBO and more ..DVD, VCR, CD player and radio for your entertainment and listening pleasure. The Full size kitchen which was renovated in 2006 with granite counter tops, New Stove-self cleaning oven, New Refrigeration and custom dishwasher. supplied with fine glasses, cookware, dinnerware, silverware and cooking utensils fit for a gourmet chef. For those that wish to prepare a special home cooked meal in the home. Just Bring the Food, Linens the family dog if you wish ... sit back and enjoy this SPECIAL ORIGINAL LOG HOME ... and your family together on a vacation which will bring back so many memories of being together.
This home accommodate 6 persons [children under three are not counted in the total 
number of occupants]
Many Times families will rent this home as a second, third or fourth vacation home for everyone to be together.
The Kitchen has a separate entrance from the second driveway where you can keep your boattrailer.
Behind the kitchen is your Webber charcoal grill for those special meals barbequed to perfection

June 21 thru Sept 6:  $1800 per week
May 24-June 21 and Sept. 6 thru Oct. 25:  $1200 per week

2009 Prices
June 21 thru Sept 5:  $1800 per week
May 23-June 21 and Sept. 5 thru Oct. 17:  $1200 per week
Dogs:  extra $100 per week per dog-Max 2 (see policy)
6 person maximum including children ages 3 and up.
Toddlers under age 3 do not affect occupancy count.

Please No Smoking in the homes!!!

Smoking is permitted outside the homes. Waterfront and scenic views from each dock with all four homes. Wood stoves at Nanny's, Kristen, and C.J. homes.  Custom stone fireplace located at the Ryan home. Satellite dish located in each home. All of the homes have an accessible area to walk into the water of a beautiful Adirondack lake. Each home has a dock located right in front of each home on the lake. Well behaved pets are always welcomed.  $100 per dog. Recycling is mandatory in Essex County. Garbage pick up is every Saturday.
